Your unwanted clutter needed to help Oxfam

My friend Emma is an amazing woman.  She is one of the Footsloggers, who are taking on the Oxfam Trailwalker in 2010 – yes, they’re going to walk 400km between them, inside 48 hours.

Here’s a special request from them.

As part of the experience, we have pledged to raise $5,000 for Oxfam… gulp! That’s quite a lot of money. So we’re having a garage sale on Saturday 5 December in Mitcham, and we need donations of things to sell. Can you help?

Anything that is saleable would be greatly appreciated – furniture, clothes, household goods, entertainment stuff (CDs, DVDs, games) – anything legal & in reasonable nick will be accepted for sale. All proceeds will go to Oxfam.

The goods would need to be with us by the evening of 4 December 2009. We can offer a pickup service by arrangement.

If you have goods you are willing to donate to our garage sale, please contact:

Emma 0411 708 073

Jenelle 0407 848 909

Ellen 0407 558 976

Lisa 0409 232 194

Helen 0401 529 329

Allyson 0413 189 115

If you prefer to donate $$$, please visit their teamspace blog.

Emma and her team are an inspiration, setting goals, putting in the work and achieving great things.  Please help them any way you can.
